Discover Your Tea Sanctuary

One of the legends about the discovery of tea began with the Emperor Shen Nong. He discovered tea in 2737 BC while boiling water in the shade of a tree. A light breeze caused a few leaves to fall into his boiled water, producing a delicate liquor and perfume. When the Emperor tasted it he found it to be delicious and from there tea was born!

Our goal at Silé (pronounced see-lay, which means "Be Still" in Latin) Tea is to create that same organic experience where a simple pause can stimulate a simple idea, an aha moment, or find a new love for tea! Our room/cafe' is a cozy oasis for tea lovers to savor over 50+ organic loose-leaf, herbs, matcha, and mushroom teas and embrace mindful appreciation in a serene environment.
